Dreams and the Bible (Part 7): Grow in Faith, Not Fear

Dreams and the Bible · Part 7 of 7

Dreams can raise questions, stir emotions, and sometimes encourage us to reflect. But Christian faith is not meant to be governed by fear or uncertainty. We grow by drawing near to God, learning His Word, and walking with other believers.

You do not have to know everything

You do not need to interpret every dream before you can follow God faithfully. Begin with what Scripture clearly teaches: love God, love your neighbour, walk in truth, forgive, pray, and act with wisdom.

Christian community helps us grow

We need places where we can learn Scripture, ask honest questions, pray with others, and receive mature counsel. A healthy church should help you become grounded in the Bible and responsible in daily decisions, not dependent on frightening interpretations.

Three steps to take this week

1. Read: Spend time in Genesis 37 and Matthew 1–2.
2. Pray: Ask God for wisdom and peace without demanding a hidden explanation for every experience.
3. Connect: Join a healthy Christian community where you can worship, learn, and grow alongside others.

A closing prayer

Father, help me grow in wisdom and faith. Keep me from fear and hasty conclusions. Teach me to understand Your Word, seek wise counsel, and live faithfully even when I do not have every answer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
