People often measure life by what they own, achieve or how others see them. Yet a person can appear successful and still feel spiritually empty. Jesus points us to a deeper life, rooted in knowing God.
โI am the way, the truth, and the life.โ โ John 14:6 (KJV)
Life begins with Christ
Jesus came to reconcile us to God and give eternal life to those who believe in Him. This does not mean believers will never face grief or disappointment. It means our lives can be rooted in Him through every season.
When we follow Jesus, He begins changing what we value. We learn to love our neighbours, forgive those who hurt us and use our gifts to serve rather than impress people.
A changed life grows over time
Spiritual growth is a daily journey of learning, repentance and obedience. Some changes require patience, support and repeated choices to follow Christ. When you stumble, return to God, read His Word and seek help from mature believers.
Try this today
- Thank God for one sign of His grace in your life.
- Identify one habit drawing your attention away from Him.
- Choose one action that reflects Jesus’ character.
Worship, Bible teaching, prayer and serving together remind us that faith is lived out with others, not in isolation.
