Not every relationship deserves the same level of access to your heart. A wise woman learns to love people without abandoning discernment.
Proverbs 13:20 says, “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise.”
Your relationships influence your thinking, choices and spiritual direction. That is why Scripture repeatedly teaches us to walk wisely and choose our companions carefully.
Healthy relationships should not require you to compromise your convictions. Love does not mean accepting manipulation, dishonour or continual disrespect. Biblical wisdom includes knowing when to speak, when to listen, when to forgive and when to establish a boundary.
Ask God to give you women who sharpen your faith and friends who can celebrate your victories without competing with you.
Challenge: Review the five relationships closest to you. Ask whether they are helping you move closer to Christ and your purpose.
Prayer: Lord, give me wisdom in every relationship. Connect me with people who strengthen my faith and help me become who You called me to be. Amen.
